Hatha/Iyengar Yoga
The hatha/iyengar yoga class focuses on each individual pose, with the goal being perfect body alignment of each pose. This is attained through the use of various props, such as blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters.
Vinyasa Yoga
The vinyasa yoga class focuses on both the poses and the transitions between them. The poses follow each other as pearls on a string, in a flow. The sequence is without pauses between the poses, which give a thorough work out and raises the temperature. The starting point is often a variation of the sun salutation, which is then developed further. There may be some light chanting and spiritual readings throughout, with a time for rest and reflection at the end.
Vinyasa Power Yoga
The Vinyasa Power Yoga class focuses on developing core strength and is more strenuous and faster paced than the vinyasa class. Postures may be held a little longer and the class will include inversions and arm balances. It is recommended that the student has 1 year of yoga experience or teacher recommendation

Intro to Ashtanga
This class is an introduction to the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.  Ashtanga Yoga is a very dynamic practice designed to bring incredible strength and flexibility to the body as well as stillness to the mind.  In this strong intro class you will be led through a shortened form of the Primary Series.  The Ashtanga sequence is a continual flow of movement from one posture to the next similar to the vinyasa classes so expect to build up some heat.  We will focus on learning the fundamentals of Ashtanga (ujjayi breath, bandhas, and vinyasas) and building up endurance in preparation for the full Primary Series.

Yinyasa
Yin/Vinyasa is a blend of the essential principles of Astanga, Iyengar, and Viniyoga.  A slower paced vinyasa, the pace is mindful and intelligent, this makes the yoga safe, aligned ,and beneficial. The yin portion follows the vinyasa, so you get two great practices which address the areas of the body that require attention and the natural healing abilities of the Body. This allows and subsequently releases feelings of fear and mistrust. Students begin to open to the possibility of both a powerful physical journey and a deeper understanding their own true nature.
